Pennsylvania Tenants who are evicted after a hearing at the District Court may file an appeal with the Court of Common Pleas in their county. A residential tenant must file an appeal within 10 days from the entry of judgment. However, keep in mind that every Tenant who files an appeal to the Court of Common Pleas, for actions involving evictions or outstanding rent, must deposit the amount of rent due with the Prothonotary.
