Mr. Rush is an associate in the Law Firm and lifelong Lehigh Valley native with strong ties to the community, who assists in a variety of litigation matters at both the federal and state level, including: Employment Discrimination/Wrongful Termination, Civil Rights, Medical Malpractice, and Personal Injury cases.
Mr. Rush received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Villanova University School of Law in 2004. During law school, Mr. Rush served as judicial extern to the Honorable Charles Weiner of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, where the variety of cases in the Court’s docket provided exposure to a vast array of prevalent legal issues, and afforded Mr. Rush the opportunity to draft motion opinions and orders for the Court and consult with Judge Weiner regarding the merits and details of pending federal cases .
Moreover, Mr. Rush also worked as a summer associate and Law Clerk during law school at a Central Philadelphia complex tort litigation and class-action firm. Mr. Rush’s time there provided him the fruitful occasion to test the legal knowledge and strategic skills he was acquiring at Villanova Law in an environment of real consequence and tangible reward.
Mr. Rush is admitted to practice law in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey, along with the United States District Courts for the District of New Jersey and the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Bar Associations, as well as the Northampton and Warren County Bar Associations.
Prior to attending law school, Mr. Rush received a Bachelor of Science (Criminal Justice) from Shippensburg University in 1998, and a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) from Moravian College in 2000, where he consistently attained Dean’s List at both schools.
During his college years and as a teenage child growing up in Easton, Pennsylvania, Mr. Rush worked summers with the City of Easton Parks and Recreation Department for five years working with families and young children as a city pool manager, lifeguard, and park leader. In addition, Mr. Rush spent time as an assistant coach for both the Easton Senior and Junior Legion Baseball teams. He is an avid New York Yankees fan and his current hobbies include skiing and traveling.
