Christy Schlottman is an associate with Winegar, Wilhelm, Glynn & Roemersma, working in a wide-array of practice areas including civil litigation, criminal defense, personal injury, matrimonial, bankruptcy and worker’s compensation in state and federal court.  Christy has significant experience in civil litigation, counseling clients during all stages of litigation, as well as appellate experience participating in arguments and drafting petitions and briefs in Pennsylvania and New Jersey appellate courts.

Prior to joining Winegar, Wilhelm, Glynn & Roemersma, Christy was an associate at a firm in the Lehigh Valley where she primarily practiced municipal law and land use & zoning in Pennsylvania and New Jersey as Assistant Solicitor, Palmer Township (2006–2009), Upper Mt. Bethel Zoning Hearing Board (2007-2008) and Greenwich Township (2007-2008).  Ms. Schlottman also served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable John H. Pursel in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Law Division before going into private practice.  

 

Christy received her Juris Doctor from Suffolk University School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts.  During her third year of law school, Christy studied a semester at Georgetown University Law Center and spent a semester abroad in Melbourne, Australia and Christchurch, New Zealand where she studied international law and comparative legal studies.  Christy received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from American University in Washington, D.C.
Christy is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Virginia.  She is also admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.  She is a member of the Warren County Bar Association, the Lehigh County Bar Association and the Northampton County Bar Association.
