CHANGES TO NEW JERSEY’S DUI LAW
In April of 2025, the New Jersey Legislature amended the drunk driving law to allow for ignition interlock credit toward the required license suspension in DUI convictions. In certain circumstances, by installing an interlock device, individuals with pending alcohol related DUIs can earn “2 for 1” day credit toward their suspension period.
