DRIVER’S LICENSE SUSPENSION COMPLETE? NOT UNTIL YOU RESTORE

By: Jennifer L. Toth, Esq.

Whether you live in New Jersey or Pennsylvania, restoring your driver’s license after the suspension of your driving privileges requires more than waiting out the suspension. Following a suspension period, depending on the reason for your suspension, you must complete certain requirements, including the payment of a restoration fee. The requirements are identified in the Restoration of Rights letter that you will receive in the mail before the conclusion of your suspension term. If you do not receive the letter, you can reach out to your local NJ MVC or PennDOT location and request a copy. Failure to comply with all of the restoration requirements will result in an indefinite suspension. Simply waiting out your suspension is not enough.

If you need assistance with restoring your driving privileges, call the experienced attorneys at Wilhelm & Roemersma, P.C., to schedule a consultation.
